HI-GRADE #343
NON-ACTIVATED ( R ) ROSIN FLUX
Description
Hl-GRADE #343 ROSIN FLUX is an
homogenised solution of pure vacuum distilled gum rosin. The processing methods employed
greatly extend the shelf life of this non-activated rosin flux so that the formation of
precipitate from standing and aging will be delayed and minimised. This rosin flux is
designed to comply With all Armed Forces and Government requirements for non-corrosive
soldering fluxes, including Spec No. MIL-14256-E, in "R" category.
In order to retain all of the original
properties processed into HI-GRADE #343 ROSIN FLUX, it is recommended that HI-GRADE
#16-343 ROSIN FLUX THINNER be used for thinning and maintaining the required level of
rosin.
Both materials, like all other HI-Grade
products, are laboratory tested (both raw materials and finished product) and are produced
under strict quality controls to assure consistent composition and performance. HI-GRADE
#343 ROSIN FLUX and HI-GRADE #16-343 ROSIN FLUX THINNER are long proven for
reliability in the field.
Uses
HI-GRADE #343 ROSIN FLUX can be used
readily and safety on all solderable surfaces such as clean copper, tin-plate, gold-plate,
brass, etc.
Advantages
HI-GRADE #343 ROSIN FLUX offers
dependability in performance, economy in use and is available for prompt delivery. This
product requires no prior humidity testing for safe use on the most delicate electronic
equipment without the potential risk of subsequent corrosion.
Application
HI-GRADE #343 ROSIN FLUX can be
applied by dipping, spraying, brushing or foaming.
