1 Solder Bars
Casted Bar is made from Grade A virgin metals. Our casting technique ensures
uniformed alloy composition and minimum contamination, giving rise to low dross and
oxidation level.
Extruded Bar are manufactured under a controlled process to produce a high purity solder.
The extrusion process assures a uniform alloy composition that result in more consistent
and reliable connections.
Hi-Grade reduced drossing (RDS) solder bar provides superior performance in wave
soldering, hot air levelling and other soldering applications advantages include less
dross formation, extended pot life and consistent quality solder joints.
2 Solder Wires
Hi-Grade produces Solid Wire and Flux Core Wire that meets international military
specifications. Wires are produced in different diameter sizes and with core percentage to
suit customers needs and requirements.
Halide Free Core Flux
Hi-Grade "HF" Halide Free Core Flux is a low solid rosin flux, used in
the production of cored solder wire in electronics application. It is a mildly activated
flux that is specially formulated to conform to the German Specifications DIN8511 Type 32.
This flux core is activated by organic compound that will enable a better fluxing
capability as compared to the normal rosin mildly activated cored solder wire. The flux
residue is very minimal and is neither tacky nor conductive under conductive conditions of
use. As this flux does not contain chloride and is low in residue, it is recommended for
applications where flux residue need not be removed.
No Clean Core Flux
Hi-Grade "NC" No Clean Core Flux was specially formulated for use in
cored solder wire for the electronics industry. It integrates into the electronics
industry as a complement to the newer generations of Low Residue Liquid Fluxes. Hi-Grade
"NC" Core Flux is super clear in colour, non-corrosive and gives an extremely
high electric insulation resistance value. Its excellent wetting and fluxing activities
allow the residue to remain without the need of removal and yet comply to JIS corrosion
test requirements.
Water Soluble Core Flux
Hi-Grade "WS" Water Soluble Core Flux is an organic water soluble flux
is the most active. This flux core is more effective than the normal rosin fluxes in
soldering difficult metals, the flux is more heat stable than other organic fluxes,
resulting in minimal smoke and odour during soldering. The flux residue can be easily
removed with a simple water rinse.
